“Watching them (Alexa and Nick) fall in love was just out right romantic.” ~Under the Covers

I can’t remember how I found this book but I know that it’s a great find. Marriage Bargain is an excellent start to this series. Ms. Probst packed it with good humor, enough romance and characters you can easily fall for.

Alexandria Maria McKenzie aka Alexa is in desperate need of money to save her family home. And in her desperation, she conjured up a spell to request for “the perfect man” in hopes for financial security.ย  Coincidence or did Earth Mother grant her the wish? Because her bff’s brother, Nick Ryan is in need of a wife and has the means to help her.

With their agreement, he will fully own Dreamscape, a successful architectural firm.ย  Yes, he is rich and sexy as hell.ย  This unusual arrangement will leave them in a commitment for a year including forsaking others.

Alexa and Nickโ€™s marriage of convenience was the perfect plan.ย  Because they have known each other from childhood, living together should be a breeze.ย  Of course, they have to act as if their marriage is not a sham.ย  It was great to see them try to live together and get along. Their attraction was palpable and watching these two fight and deny it was outright hilarious.ย  Their differences and some actions broke my heart but after they got to know each other, watching them fall in love was just out right romantic.ย  Okay, that sounded clichรฉ but this book is exactly thatโ€ฆromantic.

Probst writing flowed and she kept my attention on her hero and heroine as well as the supporting characters. She had me laugh our loud and had me tears or sighing from the romance of it all.ย  I actually have read up to book three of this series and I can tell you right now, it only gets better with each installment.
