“[Escaping Reality] is full of romance, mystery and a whole lot of sexy.  ” ~ Under the Covers

I have to be honest, I was not so thrilled to find out that Escaping Reality is of New Adult Genre. Though I adore, and I mean adore Ms Jones, New Adult…not so much. But Ms Jones pulled it off yet again captured my heart. I was enthralled from the beginning until the end and I’m still jonsing for more.

For the contemporary/erotica fans, do not be deterred by its genre. I honestly think this is more than a NA novel.  You wont see annoying heroines who cheats with two men with annoying angst. Amy is actually a strong heroine and knows exactly who she wants.  She is a survivor and she is willing to stand up to Liam who is a very alpha hero. A very hot and rich hero, I might add.  Don’t get me wrong, Liam gets his way too, but not without some kind of compromise. This first book of two is the build up of their relationship and a bit of their life but there is a lot left unanswered. Also, there is Jared, Amy’s neighbor who I can’t figure out his role in Amy’s life. I have no doubt we will see a lot more of him. I have to give it to Ms. Jones she sure knows how to create heroes who are hot, irresistible and men who can bring you escape from reality.

This novel is very much like Inside Out Trilogy. It is full of romance, mystery and a whole lot of sexy.  I cannot wait to read more about Amy’s story.

For the most part, as long as there’s a hint of romance, I’m pretty much in.

  2. Yesterday I finished with reading this book,and like Inside Out Series,Lisa Renee Jones once again managed to bring us a very good story that keeps our attention from beginning to end 🙂
