Released: November 29th 2016
Series: The Scorpius Syndrome #0.5

Recommended Read!

“…Zanetti did not disappoint, not in the least.  Scorpius Rising did its job following book one in its non-stop action, suspense and post-apocalyptic intrigue. ”  ~ Under the Covers

Scorpius Syndrome was discovered, and it is on its way across the country infecting anyone it touches. Scorpius Rising tells the story of how the outbreak began including how Lynn Harmony came to be.  Of course, the main story is Deacan and Nora’s HEA.

Second chance at love in the most unfortunate time.  In the midst of an upcoming apocalypse, Deacan and Nora find their way to each other again.  They were married and divorced but their feelings for each other never changed.  This pandemic, as disastrous as it is, will bring a second chance of what should’ve been.

To be honest, I was afraid this prequel would not do Mercury Rising (The Scorpius Syndrome #1) any justice.  That book just about blew my mind and if this prequel blew it, I would’ve been really disappointed.  But Zanetti did not disappoint, not in the least.  Scorpius Rising did its job following book one in its non-stop action, suspense and post-apocalyptic intrigue.  And that’s just icing on the cake.  The world building are character build up are equally amazing not to mention the sweet reunion between Deacan and Nora.  Hands down, to Zanetti for a job well done.

About Rebecca Zanetti

Rebecca Zanetti is the author of over forty romantic suspense, dark paranormals, and contemporary romances, and her books have appeared multiple times on the New York Times, USA Today, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and iBooks bestseller lists.  She lives in the wilds of the Pacific Northwest with her own Alpha hero, two kids, a couple of dogs, a crazy cat…and a huge extended family.  She believes strongly in luck, karma, and working her butt off…and she thinks one of the best things about being an author, unlike the lawyer she used to be, is that she can let the crazy out.
