“…if you want a non-contemporary pick me up with a touch of holiday charm then you’ll want to pick this one up.”
~ Under the Covers

You know how sometimes you find things on your kindle that have been sitting there for a while and you forgot about?  That’s what happened with PAPER STARS.  I bought it when it came out in 2017 and then forgot about it probably because the series was supposedly finished.  But since there are now more books in the series (following a different sister) and it’s Christmas time, what better time to rekindle my reading of this series than with a holiday novella!

This is a pretty short and maybe a little uneventful story, however it was a nice window into the Delaney and Ryder relationship.  I don’t want to spoil the story by telling you what it’s about since it’s so short, but if you want a non-contemporary pick me up with a touch of holiday charm then you’ll want to pick this one up.  The ending and how it ties the title of the story “paper stars” was adorable and made it all worth it.  Plus, this left me itching to read DIME A DEMON featuring Delaney’s sister Myra and the demon Bathin.

  1. Death and relaxation was 2 star read for me. I may try book 2 someday; maybe when I get stuck in my next reading funk.
