“LOST IN YOU is by far my favorite book in the Chase/Petal storyline.  Why, you may ask?  Because I absolutely LOVED both the hero and the heroine.” ~Under the Covers

LOST IN YOU is by far my favorite book in the Chase/Petal storyline.  Why, you may ask?  Because I absolutely LOVED both the hero and the heroine.

Packed full of that same small town charm and with a ton of Murphy’s and Chase’s to go around.  Although this story centers around Beth, the rest of the family and extended family was very much a part of the story.  Tate and Matt are now in their third pregnancy and she’s having a bad one, so all the siblings are rallying to take care of her.  Anne is off again with Royal and he’s almost ready to give up that she just won’t marry him.  I’m hoping that she does see the error of her ways soon and maybe the next book could be about them.

But enough about everyone else!  Beth was amazing.  I didn’t get as much of a feeling for her personality in the previous books but she’s an integral part of the Murphy family.  She’s feisty, stubborn, determined and single minded in getting what she wants.  She’s charming and sweet and caring.  I just loved her!

Then of course there’s Joe.  Starting out with the fact he’s a reformed bad boy and has tats.  My kind of guy right there.  He’s William’s best friend (Beth’s older brother) and used to be bad news.  He left town to join the military and is now back to deal with his father’s health issues.  In one word, he’s sexy.  And sweet.

This was a fun pairing to read about, they started dating because of Beth pushing for it and Joe giving in.  Buck, the dog, was an adorable part of the book.  Just enjoyed everything about it and can’t wait to read more about the Murphy’s, I’m going to miss them until next time.

About Lauren Dane

Lauren Dane has been writing stories since she was able to use a pencil, and before that she used to tell them to people. Of course, she still talks nonstop, and through wonderful fate and good fortune, she’s now able to share what she writes with others. It’s a wonderful life!

The basics: Lauren is a mom, a partner, a best friend and a daughter. Living in the rainy but beautiful Pacific Northwest, she spends her late evenings writing like a fiend when she finally wrestles all of her kids to bed.
