A culmination of romance, humor, and things that go bump in the night, DUCK DUCK GHOST is a gratifying instalment to the Hellsinger series. ” ~ Under the Covers

Second in the Hellsinger series, DUCK DUCK GHOST continues Wolf and Tristan’s romance as well as dive back into the quirky, spooky world that Rhys Ford has created.

In the first book, Wolf and Tristan experience a minor setback in their relationship so in the first few chapters of this book, Ford spends some considerable time trying to mend that break. To do that, she puts Wolf and Tristan together in close quarters. If you’re already familiar with Ford’s writing, you know that hilarious things are bound to happen. In addition to the paranormal aspect of this book, Ford beings forth plenty of sexual tension, the kind that makes the story delicious. If you’re a fan of Josephine Myles’ quirky characters and writing style, then you’ll absolutely fall for Rhys Ford’s take on ghost stories.

Some suspicious activity brings Wolf and Tristan to San Luis Obispo where their next task is to find out what is going on. In the midst of that, Ford explores both of Tristan and Wolf’s personalities more. Much of it is displayed in their quick wit and dialogue, which provides much of the humor in the story. However, there are plenty to secondary characters that also evoke the laughter.

A culmination of romance, humor, and things that go bump in the night, DUCK DUCK GHOST is a gratifying installment to the Hellsinger series.
