“If you want something fun and sexy, which bulges with the amount of alpha males it contains, then you need to give it a go”
~ Under the Covers
June kept her marriage to Evan a secret from everyone, including her family, so when he broke it off whilst he was away with the military, getting his mother to deliver the divorce papers, she dealt with it all by herself. And now he is back and working with her cousin and she realises the love she has for him never died, only now it’s mixed in with a healthy dose of weariness and anger. Evan loves June, but he knows he isn’t good enough for her the things that he saw and did whilst in the military haunt him and she deserves better. But being around her everyday is its own kind of torture and when June approaches him he finds her impossible to resist, after all, she is his.
Another day, another Aurora Rose Reynolds books! I need to start rationing them I am rapidly running out of books from her backlist, and then what am I supposed to do? But, slowing down is easier said than done, her books are all so easy to read and all have that hint of familiarity. Familiar because the books don’t differ that much with their general format, you know what’s going to happen as soon as you start reading, but also familiar because by now, I know all the background characters, most of them have their own book somewhere in the Aurora Rose Reynolds collection. Every time I read one of her books, I look forward to checking in with the Maysons.
If you want something fun and sexy, which bulges with the amount of alpha males it contains, then you need to give it a go. Although if you haven’t read any Aurora Rose Reynold before I highly recommend that you start with her Until series, which tells the story of June’s dad and her uncles and then work your way to this series. Although it isn’t essential and you won’t miss any important plot points if you don’t, it does give the books a nice warm feel when you know all the characters so well. Right, onwards to the next book!
