Harmony Mayson has been fascinated with Harlen since she first saw him and stitched up his wounds. But, he doesn’t quite fit into her well-ordered plans and ambitions and Harmony hates to take unnecessary risks. Harlen however has different plans and is determined that Harmony will take a chance on him.

I do like an Aurora Rose Reynolds contemporary romance, I go in it knowing exactly what I am about to read. A likable heroine, a gorgeous alpha hero and an unlikely and slightly puzzling kidnapping/shooting/stalking plot. Never has a family been more unlucky than the Maysons’. The predictability of the plot and the characters is both a blessing and a curse.

A blessing because sometimes it’s nice knowing what you’re getting yourself into. When I am in the mood to read a sweet alpha hero romance I know that I can pick up anything written by Aurora Rose Reynolds and satisfy that craving. However, I also find it hard to rate them higher than 3 stars as she seems to essentially write the same book over and over again.

So, if you like a sexy, sweet contemporary romance with an alpha biker hero, than pick this up. It won’t rock your world and it won’t be anything you haven’t read before, either by this author or similar, but that doesn’t mean that you won’t enjoy it. I certainly did.

  9. I have been bingeing this series! I have definitely issues with the books, but I just can’t stop reading. I am reading this one right now. I agree, sometimes it is really nice to know what you are getting into when you start a book, but man sometimes these stories are just so over the top.
