Tessa Dare knows how to make us fall in love.  THE GOVERNESS GAME is another adorable story that will sweep you off your feet.  With her trademark grumpy heroes, packed full of sexy banter and undeniable chemistry about two completely opposite characters and with plenty of humor to make you giggle.

Yes, this book will make you laugh.  Especially the daily doll death.  OMG!  How hysterical.  I found those were the exact moments I was falling in love with the hero.  Always grouchy in other settings, but his true character shines through from the very beginning in how he reacts to those moments. It’ll make sense when you read it.

This book had all the markings of what I love about historical romance.  A feisty, smart heroine who is also a romantic at heart.  A grumpy and sort of recluse hero.  A pair of charming but troubled little girls that need a some love to adjust to their new life.  This one should be on your must reads list.

While the first book in this series is still my favorite and this one falls second, in no way does that mean it’s not an enjoyable read.  I think Tessa Dare excels at creating stories full of charm and heart that you just can’t get enough of.  This one is another winner and I can’t wait to get more from this series.
