Pearson ended the series in epic proportions. I couldn’t put this book down and I couldn’t have been more satisfied with the ending. The twist and turns of what was and what has become of their world just about blew me away. Not to mention the mystery, suspense and action that was packed in the story. From the beginning until the end of this series, I continue to fall in love with all three characters. Conspiracy, betrayals and danger plague them but they all stay true to their characters.

Rafe, Lia, and Kaden has come to a full circle and are now back where they all started. But not without character growth. These three have come such a long way from the beginning of this series. Especially for Lia who have matured, become stronger and really has become a princess of worth to the people of Morrighan. She is not the runaway bride we met in the beginning.  I cheered for her from the very beginning and seeing how her story ends gives me such pleasure. I’m thankful Pearson gave this book such a wonderful ending.

Rafe and Kaden has come a long way too. Both heroes also has grown and learned a lot from each other. Though there may never be a friendship between them, they’ve learned to tolerate each other. One thing they have in common is they’re love for Lia.  Take note that only one will have his HEA .  No, there is no love triangle in this series .

There’s really not much to say about the romance without giving any spoilers but I can say that the romance made me cry a few times but again, in the end I was very happy with the outcome.

The world building continues to be amazing in this book. Pearson continues with the history of the clans and full backgrounds of the main characters. I suggest to read this trilogy on order to better understand the three different clans and how they are connected. I can go for hours just talking about the connections and underlying issue on stereotyping, hate, and the lesson it provides.

There is plenty of paths Pearson can go with to continue this series. Several characters can definitely get their own book but I have not heard anything about that yet. Wishful think at this point I suppose.
