“…it was a quick but fun read.”
~ Under the Covers

I picked this book up as it runs alongside Ruby Dixon’s The Alien Assassin’s Convenient Wife, each book tells the tale of a duo of assassin brothers who have come to Earth to eliminate a target. But, never fear! They are good assassins who only take out the scum of the universe. However, each brother stumbles onto his true mate in the course of the job.

Heriot is the serious brother. The one who plans everything well ahead of time and keeps his kills efficient and methodical. Finding Hannah, who he recognises as his true mate with his target puts a huge wrench in his plans. Now, not only does he need to take the genocidal maniac out, he needs to protect Hannah…and convince her she is coming back home with him.

Much like Dixon’s instalment in this duo of books, it was a quick but fun read. The heroine quickly accepted Heriot as an alien with a mission and decided to help him out. If you want something short and sweet to read and you like your aliens, give this book a try.
