Warning: Much like the book I am keeping this review short and sweet!
Ruby Dixon is an auto-buy author for me, I don’t even look at the blurb anymore. I just pick it up and start reading. I know I’ll either get sexy aliens or sexy dragons, what’s not to love? With The Alien Assassin’s Convenient Wife not surprisingly we get a sexy alien, a sexy alien assassin. A sexy alien assassin who needs a wife so he can get to his evil target. I feel like the blurb for this one is entirely contained within the title of the book.
I really enjoyed this book/novella, it’s a mixture of extremely cheesy romance and extremely cheesy action, all combined it made a quick but fun read. Perfect for when you want something light hearted and easy to read. This is also part of a unofficial duology with Michele Mills and her book The Alien Assassin’s Stolen Bride. The alien heroes in the two books are brothers, both having a separate but related mission on Earth. So, if you like this book, make sure you pick up Mills’ for more alien fun.
