“Maybe the perfect fantasy man.”
~ Under the Covers
I was anxiously awaiting the release of this book! There’s something about a sexy southern man that I just can’t resist, and if he happens to be a great chef then I’m a goner. And let’s just say Elijah Jackson is the perfect example of that. Maybe the perfect fantasy man.
SOUTHERN CHARMER is about a woman who feels trapped in her perfect life. The perfect boyfriend, the perfect clothes, the perfect job. But she doesn’t feel any of those things are really what she wants for herself. When her boyfriend proposes marriage (what should be the perfect marriage!) she can’t go through with it and they decide to take a break and see if some time is all she needs to be able to jump back into their relationship and their planned life. To do that, she goes off to her friend’s house in South Carolina and decides to follow her dream of becoming a romance writer. And she finds the perfect inspiration next door!
There were certain things about Olivia that I liked and I definitely loved Elijah! I’m all on board with the BILF (Beard I’d Like To F*ck) because holy hell he’s sexy! Plus he’s caring, charming (yes, hence the title) and driven! I really enjoyed the chemistry between these two and loved seeing them together. I will definitely be on the lookout for more in this series!
