“Say No More is the best read of the series. I definitely enjoyed this the best considering I didn’t think I would continue on with the series…but there you have, I enjoyed it a lot.”

Say No More is the third installment of The Gravedigger’s series by Liliana Hart. A story of a group of men who died only to be brought back to life to work for undercover ops group that no one in the government knows about. No, not in a paranormal way, but in a chemical way. These men are staged to die in almost every way, seemingly dead to everyone but arises days hours after buried. Kinda cool right?
This book focuses on Dante Malcolm who was a double agent for the British Intelligence and for the Interpol. Everything has been a game to him until he fell for his partner, Eva Rothschild. Unfortunately, he was forced to leave it all behind and now working for The Gravediggers.
There’s quite a bit of Dante’s backstory in this installment. It’s definitely a different take on The Gravediggers’ MO. I suppose it’s due to the fact that Dante, as we know him is very distant compared to the rest of the crew. In this book, he takes on a job on his own, outside of the Gravedigger’s assignments. But as it were, he should know that they are brothers in arms and will back each other up anytime.
I liked Dante. His introvert persona reminded me of a lot of people I know. And his accidental love for Eva was super cute. I love it when the romance is unexpected. I thought Eva with her past and Dante being, well, Dante made them a perfect couple.
It’s always nice for the other characters to get their page time. Though not as much as the previous books, Hart gave enough character building for the other crew. Eve, who leads this group, had quite a bit of page time. I wonder if Hart is gearing to her story soon. Al, their computer with a voice and personality was super funny. This intelligent software definitely has taken her share of page time. The history of her voice intrigues me and again wonder where Hart will take this part of the story.
Say No More is the best read of the series. I definitely enjoyed this the best considering I didn’t think I would continue on with the series…but there you have, I enjoyed it a lot.
