“Charmingly sweet!”
~ Under the Covers
This series is turning out to be such a fun and entertaining surprise. I admit the royalty trope is not one that I often seek, and I was a bit weary of the fact that after the first book featured a Royal that fell for a common girl and had to deal with the aftermath of that decision with his position in the Royal family, I was scared this would just be a repeat of that same scenario. Instead, ROYALLY MATCHED managed to be fresh, fun and unique while reforming a young party boy that’s been thrown in to replace his older brother in line for the throne.
Henry is charming from the start. Even when he only shows his carefree attitude towards life, you can’t help but love him a little bit. He decides to have one last escape of fun by accepting to film a Bachelor type reality show at his castle, where a few women will compete to the his future Queen. They have all been vetted as possible candidates that meet the strict checklist required by law. But he can’t seem to turn his attention away from one of the girls that is not there to compete and would rather go by unnoticed.
Sarah is awkward, nerdy, shy and reserved. I secretly love seeing the plain Jane tame the wildest boy and this was an endearing example of that. There are many things about Henry that are not what the media portrays and he slowly opens up with Sarah. What starts out as just him teasing her develops into a much deeper connection. One that helps her explore her past issues, and him to dive into his future responsibilities. They are both afraid and I think mesh really well in helping each other through their personal hurdles.
And the romance? Charmingly sweet! These two are so much fun to read about and not just because of sexual connection. It’s the friendship, the banter, the ease in with they interact with each other.
I wish there would’ve been a little more build up for the next book, but overall I think this is the most consistent series by Emma Chase I’ve read.

Oh yes! This series does look cute and I’ll have to snag it when I’m in the mood for a royal romance and a first shot at her writing.
Ohhh first time? This is the series I find more consistent, although I have enjoyed other single books more. Like TANGLED and SUSTAINED. But I find those series have some books better than others.
Aw this sounds really cute…thanks
These sound so good! Thanks for the review!
Thanks for the review, this series is on my wishlist.
