“Another sweet installment in one of my favorite western romance series.”
~ Under the Covers
Another sweet installment in one of my favorite western romance series. This time is Trevor Coleman’s turn to find love, and as much as I love a bad boy, he’s the good guy that will really steal your heart and make you happy.
He meets Becky after she moves in next door to him, and he immediately steps up to helping her even though there are many holes in her back story that raise flags of concern. Becky has been through a lot and is trying to desperately get away from her past. She’s found a benefactor and doesn’t think she’s at a point where she can have any attachments to other people. But Trevor and his family make it impossible not to fall for them.
I don’t want to give anything away about what’s going on with Becky, but she needed the healing and love that only Trevor could give her. I think Ms. Arend did a wonderful job at pairing these two. Even though this is sweeter than I normally would like, it’s paced just right and their connection makes sense. Not rushed. With plenty of sexual tension.
They won’t go down as my favorite couple in the series but I enjoyed this addition and I can’t wait for more!
