Heck, I don’t even have one let alone five – I’m really boring! lol

What prompted you to write a rockstar romance novel?
Nothing as such, it was just an idea that popped into my head one. Though I did put the story on hold for a year and a half before writing.

TMS and WTS have been such a success, did you expect it?! \
Gosh, no not at all! I had myself convinced that people weren’t going to like TMS when I first released it!
How did you celebrate your first release day?
I didn’t celebrate on the first day of TMS’s release, as I was too busy racked up with nerves waiting to see how it was going to be received. Although, when the great feedback starting coming in and TMS started climbing the charts, hubby and I did crack open a bottle of bubbly.

Who is your favorite band/rockstar? 
The Killers
Who would you cast Jake and Tru as? 
I’ve never found anyone that lives up to the Jake and Tru I have in my head. But there is a model called Micah Truitt who is the closest to Jake that I have ever seen.
Do you have a scene that you had the most fun writing?  Care to share a bit with us about it?
The scene .. well chapter that I’ve had the most fun writing so far is from Wethering the Storm. It’s in Jake’s POV and it’s when he has a night out with the rest of the TMS boys.

Trouble had been long awaited by your fans. Can you tell us more about it?
Firstly, I’ll say – I’m really sorry about the wait! Whenever I’m asked to tell people about Trouble I always get really stumped, as I find it hard to say anything about it without giving away spoilers! But the synopsis is available to read on Goodreads. And as soon as I have more news on the release date, you will all be the first to know.

What is next for Samantha Towle and will we ever see you State side?! 

Next, I’m starting work on the third book in my paranormal series Blood Lies, and alongside that I’ll also be starting writing Tom’s book – which is the third book in the Storm series. Yes, you will be seeing me Stateside next year! I’ll be in New York in July for a signing!

Samantha Towle - Creator of Jake WethersSamantha Towle began her first novel in 2008 while on maternity leave. She completed the manuscript five months later and hasn’t stopped writing since.

She is the author of The Mighty Storm, The Bringer and the Alexandra Jones series, all penned to tunes of The Killers, Kings of Leon, Adele, The Doors, Oasis, Fleetwood Mac, and more of her favourite musicians.

A native of Hull and a graduate of Salford University, she lives with her husband, Craig, in East Yorkshire with their son and daughter.

  2. I’ve always been facinated by drummers. If I can I’ll sit or stand where I can watch the drummer the whole night. I haven’t read the mighty storm or the second but the are on my ‘to read’ list.

  12. I’m usually drawn to the lead lead singer or lead guitarist. Something about the voice does it for me and even better with a guitar in their hand.
