Where to start! What to say, without spoiling the awesome Novella. I LOVED Rock Chick Reborn by Kristen Ashley. It resonates with the rock chick within me and I believe in all of us. We are many that is for sure and I trust we all believe in not leaving anyone behind. On this ride called life all the rock chicks have conquered their story to reach their Happy until only one remained. Shirleen!!!! Shirleen who had the backs of all her girls and the hot bunch. Throughout the Rock Chick series, we get to know Shirleen well, and know how she has turned her life around, how she is happy in so many ways but one. It would take a special man to deserve her, a persistent, patient, and hot bunch quality man to make her understand she deserves it all and then proceed in giving it to her and so much more.

I applaud Kristen Ashley as she takes us on the journey of a woman in her 50’s finding her HEA, something so rare in the romance genre. Not only does she venture amongst those waters, but her words sail amongst them so beautifully. If there were one thing I would say was missing, it would be MORE! I should advise you that when it comes to the works of The Queen of Romance I can never get enough, why would this be any different. Gimme gimme gimme. I always want more, not that the story is lacking in any way. I just don’t know that I am ever ready or willing to say goodbye, thus the numerous rereads of so many of her written works.

Within Rock Chick REBORN we revisit so many beloved characters. I find it humorous and profoundly touching to see the care that the men and women from Rock Chick Land express and exhibit while doing their part to get Shirleen to her Happy, despite herself. Thank you, Ms. Ashley, for on your birthday, giving this wonderful gift to all of us in your own unique perfect way.  This book may be read as a standalone but let’s be real here if you have not read her at least her Rock Chick Series before delving into Rock Chick REBORN, you are seriously depriving yourself of so much hot yummy goodness. Laughter, tears, true friendship and sisterhood, you will find it all within the series.
