“Some of the situations were predictable but the result and characters’ decisions and surprise me. The storyline was good overall. It was a sexy, sweet and a fast read. I’m excited to read more from this author. ” ~ Under the Covers
What happens if you catch your man f*cking another woman? Easy…trash his car. Preferably without getting caught or filmed for the world to see. Unfortunately, Avery Melrose got caught, and her punishment is to serve three hundred hours of community service. Worth every minute though because she gets to meet Seth Hunter, the tatted, bad boy who will ultimately change her life forever.
It’s a broody bad boy with goody, good girl trope. Not my favorite but I found myself enjoying it to the very end. Seth is a felon. He committed a crime to save his sister and his continued support for her was aww inspiring. I love his character; sweet and very sexy. His family’s situation saddens me, but the author explained that despite all the bad luck, there is a way out. In this case, it was a form of a girlfriend and a bit of hard work. That in itself is very realistic. I like Avery. Though she was sheltered and fed with a silver spoon, she was a good person. However, falling in love with the forbidden bad boy made her see her path clearly. I love that she learned to stand up for herself.
Some of the situations were predictable but the result and characters’ decisions and surprise me. The storyline was good overall. It was a sexy, sweet and a fast read. I’m excited to read more from this author.
