“I love that the Ravens Riders are modelled after BACA, Bikers Against Child Abuse which Ms. Kaye mentions at the end of the book.”
~ Under the Covers
Raven Riders Motorcycle Club strive on helping people who cannot protect themselves. Their ways are sometimes unorthodox and they typically live by their own rules, but they have good intentions. Dare, Raven’s president, and his brothers had recently assisted Hard Ink in a mission against a gang responsible for human trafficking. In the process, they rescued Haven and Cora who are runaways captured to be sold. As it turns out Haven is daughter of a notorious gang leader. As it’s Raven’s specialty, they took them into eventually setting them up to a new start. What they didn’t expect is the attention Dare is giving Haven and his undeniable attraction for her.
Everything seemed against them being together. Reasons such as Guilt, circumstance, age difference, and experiences held them back from getting together. Though most of the angst came from Dare, he seemed genuinely perturbed he’s having feelings for Haven. As if he could stop the inevitable. Though Haven and Dare’s story was a little angsty, I enjoyed their story.
I Love the rest of the brothers/riders, including the people that lives in the compound. Seeeing the connection to Hard Ink was a fun treat. I love the brotherhood and friendship this MC had formed. And most of all, I love that the Ravens Riders are modelled after BACA, Bikers Against Child Abuse which Ms. Kaye mentions at the end of the book.
