“Once again this series has delivered a book brimful of sexual chemistry and a lovely romance ” ~ Under the Covers
Wrath has joined the human task force to hunt down the humans who kept him, and other New Species captive and tortured, as well as to look for others who may still be imprisoned. When Wrath captures Lauren, not realising she isn’t quite who they think she is, he can’t help be drawn in by her softness and compassion, which makes his protective instincts, not to mention other things rise. But the torture and conditioning he was put through whilst he was captured makes him dangerous, especially to human women, but the more he is around her the harder she is to resist.
I have come to the conclusion that I will never be tired of the New Species series. Wrath is book number six in the series and despite some minor variations, I admit that all the books are very much similar right down to the kidnappings and assaults the poor heroines always seem to endure. But, I still go racing ahead looking for the next book in the series, I simply can’t get enough of those delicious New Species males.
How does Laurann Dohner manage to make me fall in love with all her males? I loved Wrath, he was so gentle, yet so fierce, no wonder Lauren melted for him, I was as well. He had been conditioned to feel lots of pain and interspersed with brief flashes of pleasure whenever he saw a naked human female and was worried about hurting Lauren because of this. Seeing him struggle to contain himself was hot, involving a lot of showers and hand wash, but what was even better was when he let himself off the leash, that was knicker melting.
Once again this series has delivered a book brimful of sexual chemistry and a lovely romance between the main characters, I can’t wait to read further on in to the series and watch some more New Species fall head over heels!
