This is my third book by Belle Aurora I had high expectations as I really loved the previous two but I feel a little let down as Willing Captive left me feeling a bit meh, it never sparked with me like her other books did. ~ Under the Covers
Lily Flynn leads a sheltered life, her father protecting her from everything and keeping her close. Even going as far as getting her kidnapped to keep her safe. But it may not be her body that is in danger as Lily starts falling for her gruff and arrogant kidnapper Nox, it may be her heart.
From looking at the title of this book and the cover it may give the impression of being one of those dark erotic romances, where a sheltered young girl is used in cruel and kinky ways. But it isn’t. This is very much a fun and fairly light hearted romance, where a sheltered young woman is taken captive…then hijinxs sexy and otherwise ensue. As this is my third book by Belle Aurora I had high expectations as I really loved the previous two but I feel a little let down as Willing Captive left me feeling a bit meh, it never sparked with me like her other books did.
I am having trouble though putting my finger on what exactly it was about Willing Captive that left me feeling slightly let down. It wasn’t Lily, our heroine, she lent a lot of humour to the book and although I may not have connected completely with her, I still liked her. And Nox, our hunky hero, was the same again he may not be the most memorable but I was certainly drooling over him whilst I was reading.
But, although I may not have connected with this book, it was fun and readable perfect if you are looking for something light and romantic. Although I will definitely still be keeping a look out for the next book released by Belle Aurora, I just hope it captures my imagination better than this one did.

Your review was on target! I did not get what I expected from the book’s cover and the synopsis.
The story was OK but not good enough for me to want to read anything else from this author.
Pros: variety of hairstyles i.e. short, medium and long hair designs.
