“Short, fun, and most definitely an enjoyable read.”

Taylor goes to her brother’s cabin to lick her wounds after recovering from a serious motorcross injury. She feels being away from her over nurturing family will help her regroup and figure out what she wants to do as competing again may be out of the question. Unfortunately, she didn’t know she’ll have company. Her brother’s longtime friend had also arranged to have time alone at the cabin for very similar reasons. Travis Winchester was medically discharged from the military and is also looking to regroup. At first, it was a complication, but soon after, their situation turned for the better quickly and intimately.

Funny thing is there are larger beings than just a coincidence at play here. If you didn’t already know, this spin-off series has a hint meddling elders in this town. I say a hint because, they’re presence aren’t usually a big part of the book. Four friends, Maggi, Eileen, Bethel and Martin, has been setting up their kids into their happy-ever-afters.

Travis and Taylor were both so stubborn that it was fun to watch them fall all over themselves to annoy each other. It wasn’t so much angst to their relationship, but it felt more of a foreplay in my opinion. Travis was sexy, confident and such a flirt he made me laugh. I love that they quickly jump into a comfortable friendship before the love came. And the fact that they’ve known each other made their love come easily and believable. Travis and Taylor were such a fun couple, I wish their story were longer. Short, fun, and most definitely an enjoyable read.
