Ah, the last of the Sweet triplet sister comes home to Sweet Salvation. After successful years in the modeling business, Olivia Sweet’s time of fame and wealth is over. She is broke, and has nothing left to show for, but she is determined to help her sisters with the brewery they had inherited in the town she once hated. However, the homecoming is not all that sweet. The town still had it in for her, and it will take a whole lot to convince them that she is not who they suspect her to be. To add to her troubles, the man she had once had an “understanding” with is now the town’s police chief. Their relationship was nothing more than just wild one-night-stands, but the secrecy of their past is threatened. Someone has proof of their activities and threatened to make the videos public. Mateo being an ex-marine is determined to help Olivia out of this mess and in the process building a relationship he never wanted to start from the beginning.
I love this series as a whole. Avery Flynn succeeded to deliver a very SWEET small town romance. She delivered romantic stories that were heartfelt yet light hearted. I enjoyed the small-town vibe she gave the series and adding a hint of military and suspense to this story was a good move. It was a good fit for the overall plot. Olivia and Mateo’s story was not my favorite of the trio, but I liked them plenty. Avery Flynn gave them a well deserve happy-ending. Her execution to finally give the Sweet sisters the acceptance they deserved was very satisfying as well. Ms. Flynn and this series, in particular, remains on my small-town recommended list. I’m hoping to read more of her work soon.
