“TO LOVE JASON THORN is an adorably sweet and a little bit sexy romantic comedy.”
~ Under the Covers

This book was recommended to me last year and I immediately put it on my list of books to read, but as it usually happens, it got pushed farther down the list.  This year I joined the #12reads12friends challenge and I decided to pick this as one of the recommendations from a friend that I wanted to read.  I’m so happy I did!  TO LOVE JASON THORN is an adorably sweet and a little bit sexy romantic comedy.

I’m usually not the biggest fan of Hollywood romances, but the hero of this story is a big time actor.  The heroine is a romance author who found indie fame with her first book and is now being made into a movie.  She had originally written the story with her childhood crush, her brother’s best friend.  And that just happens to be the guy that Hollywood thinks is perfect to play the role.  Yeah, our hero.  Seeing these two reconnect after so many years was sweet.

There was an ease to Ella Maise’s writing style and it just made this book flow.  It was a breeze to read and also entertaining.  I’m looking forward to reading the next in this series.

  1. Sounds good. Best friend’s older brother is one of my fave tropes. Adding to my wishlist. Thanks for the review Francesca
