I can’t give The Virgin Sex Queen more than 3 feathers as although I did enjoy reading it, I feel like I have read it before…which I have

Sophie Willow is an erotic romance writer with a secret, all the hot things she has written about…she has never experienced, in fact she hasn’t experienced anything at all as her virginity still remains intact. Alan Cooper is a cop, a really cute one and when he finds out her secret he offers to give her the experience she craves, but will the two weeks they have together be enough?

I seem to be on a Angela Verdenius spree at the moment, I can’t seem to stop reading her books. One because her books are funny and sweet with a dash of sexy. Two, because all the characters seem to interconnected, if you have read Cop’s Passion you will recognize Alan, the hero, as Mike’s partner and he also pops up in a lot of Ms Verdenius books so I am glad I picked this up to see him get his HEA.

However, I can’t give The Virgin Sex Queen more than 3 feathers, although I did enjoy reading it, I feel like I have read it before…which I have, I have found that all Ms Verdenius’s books are basically all the same, from the way the story unfolds to the heroine’s character; they very much follow the same pattern. That doesn’t stop me from laughing at the witty banter and loving the heroes sexy bedroom skills, but it would be nice to read something a little different.

A fun read, I am glad I got to see fun lovin’ Alan finally get caught by a gal and despite finding the books a little repetitious, they are exactly what I need to read whilst I am lounging in the sun.

About Angela Verdenius

I live in Australia, where I am ruled by my cats, adore reading, and I think a perfect day is writing and drinking Diet Coke, followed by reading or a good horror movie. I'm very lucky in that my books have won many reviewers’ awards, been on the Fictionwise best-seller list, and one of them has even won the Golden Rose Award!

Reading has always been my escape, writing my dream. Horror, myths, legends, fantasy and history, there are no limits to the wonders to be found. And romance? Well, that adds the spice, hope and happiness ever after.
