“I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be reading the next book in the series, although it doesn’t offer anything original, Mathewson’s formula never fails to leave me happy.” ~ Under the Covers
Jodi never thought she was the kind of woman to have an enemy…but she has found one in her arrogant, frustrating, sexy neighbour Danny Bradford. It seems to be his mission in life to make her life as miserable as possible. Danny can’t help picking on his cute little neighbour, he knows she hates him, a fact that never fails to amuse him. But after a disastrous encounter with the rubbish bin and some toxic leftovers, he begins to see Jodi as more than just his neighbour, but could his previous behaviour have blown his chances?
If there is one thing I can count on with R.L. Mathewson’s Neighbour from Hell series, it is to leave me with a massive grin on my face and once again I wasn’t let down. The Game Plan was full of laughter, not to mention her gorgeously arrogant Bradford men.
These books do follow a very similar pattern, so if you have read the previous books in this series, than don’t expect this book to shake anything up. But, it is still a good book in the series, like the others is has characters you can’t help but like and laugh along with (and at!) and the romance is a great mixture of sexy, sweet and humourous.
We also get to see some familiar faces from previous books in the series, the familiarity of the background characters make this book seem cosy, like you are checking in with old friends. However, you don’t need to have read the other books to appreciate the romance and humour in The Game Plan.
I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be reading the next book in the series, although it doesn’t offer anything original, Mathewson’s formula never fails to leave me happy.
