“I loved the chemistry that Evie and Vin have.” ~Under the Covers

Sins From Her Past is a sweet friends to lovers romance with a side of emotional drama thrown in for good measure.Evie’s moved home after being gone for a few years and she’s eager to get going with opening her new design business. Unaware that her brother asked his best friend, Vin, to hire her to design his new resort, Evie is thrilled. Not only to have Vin as a client but just to be closer to him…little does she know that Vin’s been in love with her for years.I loved the chemistry that Evie and Vin have. Vin is just perfect for Evie and I really admired his patience especially since it took quite a while for Evie to come around.Unfortunately for me, it really tested my patience too. The back and forth of whether to let Vin kiss her or not, whether they should work together or not, whether they should be together or not and just why Vin would be attracted to her and not the model types he usually dated was really frustrating. Add into the equation that there is this big secret that she’s kept from everyone and it takes forever to get any information about it. It isn’t hard to figure out but it was a bit grueling waiting to get the facts.Once Evie and Vin finally got together, things started getting really good. There were some steamy scenes and some really sweet and romantic scenes. I loved what he got her for her birthday! And finally little details of her secret started coming out.I think the author did a good job with the reveal. It was a hard situation and we weren’t forced to endure all the intimate details which was good. She handled it really well and I felt what happened was just and realistic.

I was sooo happy that there was an epilogue and I really enjoyed how things ended. I was glad to see that this is part of a series and that the next book is Secrets From Her Past that is coming out in May 2013 but I couldn’t find any other information about the book.
