Review: Seeds of Iniquity by J.A. Redmerski

I took such a long break from reading this series, I thought it would be so hard to jump back in.  The great thing?  I chose to take that break and come back with a book about the couple we’ve followed the most in this series.  This was great for my memory, and at the same time just ok for my enjoyment of the book.

See, the thing about this is that Izabel isn’t my favorite heroine.  I mean, I liked the first book KILLING SARAI, but then with the second book REVIVING IZABEL I was getting a little over reading about her and just wanted to continue exploring the world and other characters more.

SEEDS OF INIQUITY is kind of a group-ish book since the plot does affect a lot of characters, but I found it Izabel-centered.  Total personal pet-peeve here to say that I wished that wouldn’t have been the case and seen a bigger emphasis on someone else, even with the same storyline.

All that being said though, this was a really interesting story about digging deeper into all the characters secrets.  Finding out things that each had long buried.  It made all these dark and dangerous characters a little more human and I think that mix is what I always enjoy about this series.

While I enjoyed this and found it entertaining and captivating, I also felt like it was a filler book and I’m now more than ready to dive into the rest of the series and explore new stories in this dangerously seductive world.
