Sometimes picking up a book on an impulse and a friends recommendation is JUST what you need to do.  And that’s what I did when I saw that Tara Lain and Eli Easton had collaborated on a new adult college m/m series featuring romances between nerds and jocks.  Gimme gimme gimme!

While it may seem a bit cliché, SCHOOLING THE JOCK was fun and addictive read with adorably lovable characters and the sparks of an enemies to lovers story.  But it also brought an unexpected emotional depth once we delved deeper into the backstories and families of our main characters. What we got is a well rounded story that had me rooting for both of them and wanting to see them get their HEA.

If you are looking for a book with the right dose of nerdiness, this one will be a satisfying read.  Even if some of the frat antics and not enough groveling could’ve been better.  I’m looking forward to the other books in this series for sure.
