Ever since Melanie Jacobs lost her grandfather, the mere thought of a social life let alone dating is out the window.  Running their ranch and waitressing takes up all of her time, so it’s no surprise how her best friend Colton Freeze knows when she is in need of help.  But the kind of help Melanie needs isn’t something you ask of your best friend.

Colton knows Melanie needs help and after finding out exactly what she needs he’ll be damned if any other man is going to give it to her.  It’s his obligation as the best friend to help, right? Melanie will just have to get over it!  But all it takes is one steamy kiss to turn things upside down and have him wondering if this is more than just a favor.

Melanie and Colton will have you reading until your eyes can’t stay open.  Their chemistry flows so easily it’s hard to imagine why these two never dated to begin with.  They bicker like a married couple and make out like horny little teenagers.  Put that together with the small town atmosphere and how close their family is and you just end up getting good vibes all around!

If you want a nice easy read that will give you a feel good mood in all the right places *wink* then Rising Assets is the book for you!
