Sometimes you pick up a book because the blurb and the tropes sound like total catnip for you.  That’s how I ended up not being able to resist reading RAFE and as soon as the audiobook released, I had to pick it up.  I’ve read Rebekah Weatherspoon before and I knew I was in for a sexy ride.  But this book was different then the previous book I’ve read by her.  This one felt like a fun, fluffy ride while my previous read by her had more intensity and emotion.  Never fear.  This is not a bad thing, just different.  And I was here for it.

Meet your next book boyfriend.  I couldn’t put RAFE down from the moment I started reading it.  I love a good beta hero and in many ways Rafe was exactly that.  He’s comfortable in the job he’s been doing for years and he’s good at it.  He’s a male nanny.  The visual image I had of him being this big guy with tats and a beard and being so sweet and adorable to the twin girls he’s hired to take care of made me love him even more!  Then you add to that the romance and the sexual chemistry between him and Sloan and really you couldn’t get more perfect than him.  The man can bake a quiche from scratch and then make Sloan melt in a puddle of sexual desire and satisfaction.  And also, I love a man that is not intimidated by a strong, intelligent and successful woman.

If you are looking for a book that is fun, sexy, flirty and just delicious to read look no further.  RAFE delivered that catnip I was looking for and I can’t wait to read more from this author.
