The problem I had with this book was that I wanted to like it more than I actually did. ~ Under the Covers

When Doctor Ellie “Sparky” Swan, hears someone trying to get into her bedroom, she never expects to see Tyler Longfoot, the hot bad boy of her small town, she especially didn’t expect to see him shot in the ass. In exchange for her secrecy about his embarrassing injury, Tyler agrees to help her become a wild woman in the bedroom so she can impress the man she has been secretly daydream about since high school.

The problem I had with this book was that I wanted to like it more than I actually did. I loved the premise, the bookish good girl and the town bad boy with a motorbike and good heart hooking up, but it didn’t pull me in and make me fall in love with either of the characters or the romance.

But, it wasn’t bad, it was an enjoyable read and it made me laugh I particularly like when Ellie tries to make wild woman lesson plans for Tyler to follow. And the romance between them was nice and went along the expected lines with a few steamy interludes, which although they didn’t blow my socks off they were pretty hot.

This was a good fairly short read, although it isn’t one I will rave about it was entertaining and fun, with likable characters and some humour and sexy times.

  1. Thought this was a great book. Quick page turner. Loved the scene where she is driving. Was literally laughing out loud and couldn’t stop.

  2. Just finished PRIVATE PRACTICE. Loved it. Great, sexy, funny, gentle story. Have second book to read in a day or two.

Hope Samathe writes third book, and more, really soon.
