“…super fast and easy read.”
~ Under the Covers
This is a three-part story. While each part will be short like a novella, this first one gave us a good taste about the couple. Presley and Hunter loved each other but he left her behind when he took on his dream job. She wasn’t too happy about being left hanging with all their plans and has tried her best to forget him. Even though she’s since seen him all over billboards boasting of his adventurer career. Now she has to work closely with him since her boss teamed up with him for a new project. Who knew the adventurer would be interested in arts and antiques?
Like I said, this one was just a taste so I can’t make up my mind yet on how this will play out. However, the narration was fun and actually one of the reasons why I started this. I believe this is Scott Eastwood’s first audiobook narration. I think he did a decent job, if maybe a little monotone and without much difference between characters. At least for me.
Overall, this is a super fast and easy read. I’ll be looking forward to finish the story between these two and hopefully get a bit more into the mystery aspect in the next installment.
