“I loved this book because it didnโ€™t take itself too seriously.” ~Under the Covers

You show me a woman that wouldnโ€™t melt into a tub of butter the moment that Garrick opens his mouth and I will show you a lying liar-face liar, lying out of their filthy dirty lying hole!

When we first meet our virginal (no, seriously, sheโ€™s a virgin) 21 year old heroine Bliss, she is is getting ready to be dragged out to the bar by her bestest girlfriend Kelsey, to find someone to finally help rid her of her virginity. Little did she know that she would meet Garrick, a hot Britt with an accent to die for. (AND he was reading Shakespeare in a bar and seeing as how you are reading this book review on a book reviewing site run by a book loving lady, we ALL know how HOT men reading books are!) They hit it off and she decides that he is the one and she goes back to his place. This is where their โ€œcomedy of errorsโ€ is just beginning.

First, she sees that he lives in the next apartment complex from her, then she burns her leg when getting off his motorcycle, then she freaks out right before they are about to do the deed, then she lies about having a cat that she needs to pick up, and lastly, just when she thinks the whole tragic night is behind her, she discovers that he is Drama Professor… could it get any worse you say? OH YES!!! Letโ€™s turn this star crossed love fest into a frickin TRIANGLE!!!!

Just when Bliss and Garrick are trying to figure things out between them, her best friend Cade announces that he has feelings for Bliss and has been in love with her for years! Billy Shakespeare would be proud to show this tragedy on his stage.

I loved this book because it didnโ€™t take itself too seriously.ย  It was such a fun book to read, I laughed out loud many times, and truly enjoyed seeing how the story would unfold. Now donโ€™t get me wrong, this book was serious where it needed to be, emotional at times, and sexy as hell at just the right times. Me thinks I will give it 4 feathers, verily!
