“I wanted a new m/m romcom to read and I just don’t think this is a good fit for me.”
~ Under the Covers
I’ve been wanting to read this series for a while because of the titles and the link to astrology. It just seemed really cute. So when I saw this on KU I had to jump on it.
LEO LOVES ARIES is set in college and it’s a slow burn roommates to lovers. Is it done in a way that feels unique? Yes. But there were too many things about this story that just didn’t catch my interest. Parts of the characters I liked, individually. But as a whole, I didn’t connect with them and didn’t see them as a couple either. I probably had the biggest problem connecting with the main protagonist, Theo. I kept thinking he was extremely pushy and he just didn’t make much sense to me.
Adding to that, I found the writing a little choppy for my taste so I didn’t feel like the story flowed. It’s kind of a shame because I wanted a new m/m romcom to read and I just don’t think this is a good fit for me.

I was just reading about this series. It did sound cute. It stinks about the main character and choppy writing.
That’s too bad ty! For review Francesca ! Shared on all my socials!
Yikes, thanks for sharing your thoughts Francesca
Bummer, I’m not a fan of slow burn so that would have been a negative for me.
