Man, it feels like forever since I’ve read this series. Way back when, I read Unleashed and Rock Me. This was before the blog, before I really explored Erotic Romance and before tatted up hotties and pierced penises really became a thing. I loved Lynn’s writing then and now I remember why in LEAVE ME BREATHELESS.
This is Ghost aka Seth’s book. Ghost is pretty much everything you want in a hero. He’s sexy, pierced, loves to talk dirty, isn’t afraid to tell you what he wants, but he is also has a soft side. He cares for his Nana greatly and it’s actually quite interesting to see how he handles his ex. In addition to that, the rough-housing that goes on between the guys just makes them seem so damn endearing and fun that you cannot help but love them all.
Macy is an interesting heroine. She is sweet, but is also quite curious. She doesn’t come across as controlling as she did in the previous books and you get a sense of why she acted the way she did in this novel. Lynn explores her vulnerabilities in a believable way that only adds another dimension to her character. Also, I loved that we got to see the involvement of past couples in this story. I loved getting updates on Candace and Brian.
One other thing I have to mention is the fact that Lynn’s writing makes everything work in this story. You can have hot sex, great banter and chemistry between the main couple and secondary characters but nothing really beats good writing. I adore Lynn’s voice and am hoping that she continues to write more contemporary erotics.

I am diving straight into TAKE ME ON, because really I think this series continues to get better and better!

I love Cherrie Lynn’s books. I love the way she writes her sex scenes, hot, hot, hot! I am always happy to see she has another book for me to enjoy.
