Review: Just What She Wants by Barbara Elsborg

JUST WHAT SHE WANTS is a different type of 1Night Stand than I’m used to, and that’s a good thing.  The arranging for this one night stand was done sort of behind the scenes and the main characters were not aware of the setup.  That was refreshing in reading this series and got major points with me!

That being said, this is my first time reading this author and I’ve been wanting to try her for a while.  Even though short stories can be hard to convey a realistic connection, I think this novella does a pretty good job at it.

We have Kyle and Marc who are a couple but have been looking for a woman to complete their lives.  They are both in charge of running a pleasure resort in Orlando, FL.  Kyle has gone through a troubled past, the death of a loved one, an accident that left him crippled and also closed off his emotions.

Then in comes Indiana Jones from London, ready to have a wild and adventurous vacation.  Ha!  Yeah, I’m not kidding about the name.  Indie has a great personality and is just a tad naive but knows when to jump on an opportunity when it’s presented.

The story was great and the sex of course was very sexy, however I think I could’ve done with more of the getting to know each other that we just didn’t have time for because it’s a short story.

Nevertheless, this is one hot and spicy novella, sure to warm up your evening or lunch hour. 🙂
