Review: If It Fornicates by L.A. Witt and Aleksandr Voinov

There was perfect pacing and a believable conflict and resolution for these two amazing guys. ~ Under the Covers

Witt and Voinov have really mastered what it means to be a tough, sadist Dom and rent boy in IF IT FORNICATES. As the fourth installment to the series, readers can still jump in and happily enjoy Spencer and Nick’s story as long as they read the book before this, IF IT FLIES.

These two books feature rent boy Nick and Spencer. Nick is one of the top earners of the Garden Market and is heavily skilled at administering pain, humiliation, or whatever other kink gets you off. In IF IT FLIES, Spencer, the lawyer, is Nick’s client and that’s really where the romance between them begins. In this book, we get to see how they plan to have a relationship alongside Nick still keeping his job as a rentboy.

A couple of scenes are with clients and those are super hot, but the ones that matter and the one that hold emotion are the sex scenes with Spencer. You can totally tell the difference between the two, where one is about prolonging pleasure and making clients work for it while Nick’s time with Spencer is about passion and love.

I loved how communicative both the heroes were and how they were willing to address the conflict together. Even though Nick is clearly the Dom in the relationship, he is a very understanding one. Getting both characters POV was a nice treat to have. It definitely added dimension to the storyline and I found that it actually made the sex more interesting as well!

I’m also very glad that the authors didn’t try to prolong this storyline more than they had to. There was perfect pacing and a believable conflict and resolution for these two amazing guys.
