WOW I may need some time to collect my thoughts on this one, I was left completely speechless.  This book is awesome!!!!  Forget about putting a label on this of contemporary romance, erotica, gay romance, it is just a beautiful, real, gritty, emotional, raw love story.  It completely captivated me from the beginning and I literally couldn’t put it down.  To the point that I was late to my boyfriends birthday and almost missed the first half of a Broadway show we had tickets for.  THAT GOOD!  AMAZING!!!  LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT!!!!

The general idea of the story, without giving too much away, is two NYC firefighters that have been friends their whole lives. Griff the big irish one, and Dante the pretty boy and cocky italian one.  They’ve been through everything together. But somehow Griffin starts wanting more than just friendship and he doesn’t know how to deal with those feelings or what to do about them.

Their friendship, their connection and love for each other was present at all times in this book.  In my eyes there couldn’t be anyone more perfect for the other. The issues they face are real, from being a firefighter, to being straight men and now finding that they are in love with a man and how society deals with that.This book will bring tears to your eyes, especially after knowing the back story of this couple and how this book came to be, as this is a real life story that didn’t have a HEA. Emotional and moving and quite frankly very HOT! Yes, of course, I couldn’t leave that out now could I? There’s some extremely hot firefighter sex, raw, intense, full of emotion. Just…WOW…*fans self* A.MA.ZING!!! I’d love to see the video of that! 😉

I am dying now for the next book which is Tommy’s story. We saw a bit of him in this book and the issues he’s been dealing with and I am ready to see him get a HEA, I’m rooting for him, he deserves it, and I know he’ll also have a HOT as HELL book!

TRULY A MUST READ BOOK!!
