“HER LONE WOLF is a suspenseful read with twists and turns at every corner!”
~ Under the Covers
DCO’s very own bad boy Clayne Buchanan and FBI Special Agent Danica Beckett get teamed up to track down a serial killer on the loose in book two of the X-Ops series. Both the FBI and the DCO know that these two are the best for the job, but what they don’t know is Clayne would rather jump off a bridge than be near Danica again.
Years ago Clayne and Danica were partners at the DCO and they were the best at what they did, professionally and romantically but things ended badly when Danica left Clayne high and dry. Since then Clayne has had to deal with her absence and numerous other partners gone wrong. But what he doesn’t know is that Danica had no choice but to leave and she now has to live with her decision every day of her life. Can these two put aside their past in order to take down a killer?
New characters are introduced and others’ stories unfold as the stakes get higher for Clayne and Danica who so maturely get through the case before the truth finally gets lose. These two work so damn well together that I felt like I was reading an episode of Law and Order: Paranormal Edition. I totally made that up but could you imagine? It would be my favorite if it were on the air today! Sorry SVU!
Her Lone Wolf is a suspenseful read with twists and turns at every corner! I could not guess what was going to happen next! Add great writing and interesting characters and you have a must read on your Law and Order: Paranormal Edition shelf!

Thanks for the info….i hadn’t heard of this series and have been looking for something new…
Sounds interesting…Thanks Jessica
This one kept me on my toes!! i can never get enough of this author. I just love her writing style, so easy to get into it, and I always make sure I have plenty of free time because I have the hardest time putting down her books.
I need to get to more of this series. I’ve read Her Perfect Mate and really enjoyed it. I recently started SWAT on audio and I’m enjoying it as well.
Thanks for the review.
