“If you’re looking for a sweet romance, focusing on love and healing, then this will be the right choice for you.” ~ Under the Covers
Stories about fated mates are probably the only ones where insta-love is ok. Even so, BLUE MOUNTAIN uses this concept nicely. Alpha wolf Simon is on his old pack’s territory when the alphas brother, Mitch, catches him. Mitch immediately recognizes him as his mate while Simon has been hiding his nature for so long, it takes a little bit more time for him to come to terms with the fact they are now destined to be together.
This is a short story and centers around that coming to terms and understanding that Simon now has someone that will care about him. He’s had a rough life, always thinking of himself as weak instead of seeing the importance of an Omega.
While this story focused on the main couple, I feel it lacked a bit in the world development department. We don’t really get to see a lot about the Pack and I was looking to get a little more invested in that aspect in order to connect with the series.
If you’re looking for a sweet romance, focusing on love and healing, then this will be the right choice for you.
