FIRST NIGHT gives just a taste of what you can expect in this series. ~ Under the Covers

FIRST NIGHT is the prequel novella to the Seductive Nights series. This series caught my eye because of its hot over and also the hype around it about it’s dirty talking hero. If a book involves a dirty talker, you can be sure I’ll be there.

Since FIRST NIGHT gives just a taste of what you can expect in this series, it doesn’t offer too much in terms of character development or plot. However, there’s a steaming hot romp that I believe will set the tone for the rest of the series.

As my first story from Lauren Blakely, I was most interested in her authorial voice. At only 75 pages, I liked what I read, but am eager for more. You can be sure I’ll be started on NIGHT AFTER NIGHT. I found Julia’s confidence in her sexuality to be liberating so I’m sure that with Clay Nichols’ dominant side, there’s going to be a lot of sexiness to come in the future books!

About Lauren Blakely

Lauren Blakely is an unabashed fan of clever jokes, toast, and good guys in novels. Like the heroine in TROPHY HUSBAND, she thinks life should be filled with hot men, cool clothes, and the kind of love that love songs promise. Lauren lives in California with her husband and children, and spends her days writing both true stories and make-believe ones.
