This anthology had a little bit for everyone ~ Under the Covers
I rarely like all the books in an anthology but with Fire & Frost I really enjoyed each one and am hard pressed to say which one would be my favourite. It introduced me to two authors I haven’t read before, Jessica Sims and Meljean Brook and one author that I already love, Carolyn Crane, which means that my unfortunate TBR mountain is going to have a few more titles perched on it!
This anthology had a little bit for everyone, if you like a sexy and lighthearted paranormal romance, than Jessica Sims story Speed Mating is great, it was funny and sexy and although you know what is going to happen from the start I still had a lot of fun reading it. If you fancy some magic and a little mayhem Conjuring Max by Carolyn Crane will be the story for you, as well as having some magical skirmishes, it has a really touching romance between the main two characters and this really managed to cram in a lot of emotion in such a small amount of pages. Also if you have read Mr. Real (which, I highly recommend you do!) then you will recognise the characters of Max and Veronica.
The last novella and the longest in this anthology was Wrecked by Meljean Brook and is part of her Iron Sea series, which I am now desperate to read. If I had to pick, I would say this was probably my favourite in this anthology; I found the world created by Meljean Brook was really interesting and something I can’t wait to read more about and I also really loved the romance. It was sweet yet full of sexual tension and I was desperate for these two unhappy characters to finally find their HEAs with one another.
I really enjoyed Fire & Frost it is definitely one of the best anthologies I have read and I recommend any fan of romance to give it a go.
