“But the chemistry is undeniable. The first half of this book was sizzling enough that there might’ve been smoke coming off my headphones.” ~ Under the Covers
Talk about sweet and a little sinful. I enjoyed EXQUISITE and kept wanting to get back into reading this series but, you know, too many books and not enough time. Then I forgot about it! How could I?
Much like EXQUISITE, I thoroughly enjoyed ENTICE. Here’s a kick ass woman who in general takes life by the balls. She’s got a successful career and great friends, but not much luck in the men department. In part, this is because she keeps picking men to date that she thinks are good for her. And always boring.
Joshua is Mason’s best friend, and best man in the upcoming wedding. He looks like everything Shelly doesn’t want in her life, but everything she is attracted to. He looks like a bad boy that can give a girl the night of her life but in her opinion he doesn’t seem like a successful career man or business man she should go for. But she gives in and decides to have a fling.
Joshua actually doesn’t want a serious relationship either and Shelly is the type of maneater he doesn’t want to be involved with. But the chemistry is undeniable. The first half of this book was sizzling enough that there might’ve been smoke coming off my headphones.
I have to admit after that the story lost a bit of steam for me. I enjoyed the conflict but I’m not a fan of misunderstandings and I feel like some of the hang ups Shelly had could’ve been cleared up quicker with better communication.
So while this wasn’t perfect, it was very entertaining and incredibly hot. And I just love the sexy heroes in this series. And as much as that’s true, I have a feeling the next one will take the cake. I’m so ready to read EDIBLE!

Thanks for the review Francesca
Thanks for the review, I have books 1-3 of this series on my TBR pile and I really want to read since they are connected to her Try and Take books.
I feel the same way about misunderstandings/miscommunication
