“The themes explored do center around the trials and tribulations of high school life. However, they are still relatable and universal enough that everyone can find a character that they can relate to.”

I know. I’m late on this one but I was having a bit of a reading slump and wanted an audiobook that would be light and fun. That’s exactly what I got from this book.
ELEANOR & PARK is my first read from Rainbow Rowell and as soon as I began, I knew I was going to enjoy the rest of the book. Want to know why? Because Rowell makes me smile. Her characters are so adorably cute and funny that you can’t help but love them.
Both the hero and heroine are a little on the quirky side and I love that Rowell incorporated some diversity in her books. The banter was great and the language used wasn’t too juvenile for an adult reader like me, which makes me think that although this is technically a Young Adult book, adults can absolutely enjoy it too.

I listened to this one in audio format and was very happy with the narrator as well. I don’t know if they do all of Rowell’s books but if so, I’ll definitely be picking up the others to try in this format.
If you’re a fan of Jenny Han’s books, I would definitely give Rainbow Rowell a shot too.

I haven’t read this author yet, but I am chomping at the bit to! I have heard such great things. I think the one I’m most curious abut is Attachments.
