“I can’t wait to read the second book.” ~Under the Covers
DraculaVille is the 1st installment in the New York series. This is my 1st book by author Lara Nance and I have to say I enjoyed it.
Talia Quinton A.K.A Tiger is the top Advertising Executive in her agency and for the past ten years she gave the company her all, so when her dream job is available Talia knows in her heart that the job is hers, or so she thought. Instead Talia takes on the unwelcome job of promoting the country of Romania, Yes you read that right Romania. Upset Talia drinks her sorrow away and ends up in an dark alley with a man she doesn’t know. To her surprise the man is no longer Human but a Vampire. This doesnt scare Talia away instead she uses this to help her promote Romania. With the Help of Drake ( Mystery Man) she creates DraculaVille a theme park centered around the history of Dracula.
What I love about Drake is his willingness to help Talia even when she’s being a Bitch. I couldn’t help but think that he was nothing but dollars signs to her. And I have to say she was lucky to have him, what man, Vampire or Human would cook dinner for you every night and not just any dinner a three course meal. I wish and yet she continue to be a bitch. It wasn’t until we meet other vampires and her life is in danger does Talia start to open up to Drake. This was the only thing that bothered me about this book. Drake was open and you could tell that he had feelings for Talia but she was just so cold. Even to Pip (Younger Vampire) she was a bitch lol.
Secondary characters were amazing and had me laughing especially Talias assistant. I can’t wait to read the second book and see where it leaves them.

Yay! Glad you enjoyed my story. Yes, Talia is a bitch, but she’s learning there’s more to life than big business now that Drake is in her life. In books two and three we’ll see further evolution of Drake becoming powerful and confident and Talia becoming softer and more willing to open herself up to love.
The adventure continues! Stay tuned….. Lara XOXOXOXO
Thanks for the review – I’ve never heard of this series but this does sound good – It sounds as if Drake is a great hero!
