“Dixon has well and truly fired it all back up again in the latest instalments ”
~ Under the Covers

Was anyone else as excited as me for Bek’s book? From the ending of the last book in this series you just know shit’s going to hit the fan when Bek gets some visitors to their planet to come back…bringing some human women with them. With no concept of slavery or ownership Bek has no idea the implications of buying women, so when he gets what he ordered he can’t understand why everyone is so angry at him, especially the humans. Hasn’t he saved them and given them home? Given the last unmated males a chance to have a family, including himself?

There was a little bit of a lull in the Ice Planet Barbarian series, but Dixon has well and truly fired it all back up again in the latest instalments and it looks like it’s going to continue for the next few books with the introduction of some new human women. Bek is a bit of a favourite of mine, he’s surly, aggressive and argumentative, but he’s also lonely, willing to do anything to have a mate and kits that he can cherish and love. Barbarian’s Redemption shows us a whole different side to the impatient Bek as he battles resonance to try and soothe and befriend his mate, the ragged, dirty and mute Elly. A woman who has been a slave and mistreated fro the last 10 years.

I love this book, it’s definitely one of my favourites of the series. Bek and Elly are so gosh darn cute together and I really enjoyed their connection that slowly grew as the book went on. It also introduced some new characters into the series and I can’t wait to see what happens next. If you haven’t read this series yet and you like your romance with some hot blue aliens who like nothing better than to spoil their mates then give these book a chance.spacer
