“I liked that it was less explosive then the last few books, but that didn’t mean it was any less engrossing, I still couldn’t get enough of it.”

Last we knew our Ice Planet Barbarian’s home had been destroyed by a cave in, luckily there were minimal casualties. Although they nearly lost him, Pashov survived but has completely lost his memory of the last two years…including his mate Stacey and their son. Stacey doesn’t know what to do when the fun loving man who is her mate now looks at her like she is a stranger, she keeps hoping that he will remember but, everyday that hope slips away. But can they rebuild what they had before, even if he doesn’t remember?
I’m a big fan of this series so I was very excited to see another book had been released, especially after the big event, the cave in, at the end of the last book. Barbarian’s Heart isn’t quite as action packed as the last few books have been, instead we have a quieter kind of book focusing entirely on Pashov and Stacey. I really enjoyed it, I liked that it was less explosive then the last few books, but that didn’t mean it was any less engrossing, I still couldn’t get enough of it.
This book was warm and romantic and a little bit heartbreaking as Pashov and Stacey try and comes to terms with their relationship after the accident. You can see them both struggling in this new territory as they try and make it work, it was incredibly sweet. This is definitely becoming one of my favourite scifi romance series, they are always sexy and romantic as the Earth women for their gorgeous alien men and although this one was slightly different, it still had all those elements.
A great read and I can’t wait to see what happens next with my favourite blue horned aliens!

Thank you for the review. This series looks intriguing. I’m always on the look out for good Sci Fi Romance to read. I’ve add them to my TBR and see that the first book is currently on sale, so ya I grabbed it. ^_^
