“These are great for both long time fans of the series, but also for newbies to get a real taste of Ms. Briggs world and characters. You won’t be sorry you pick them up either way!”

Well, what can I say….I love Patricia Briggs. Lets start out with the fact that her worlds are amazing to begin with so as fans, these graphic novels are pure enjoyment. That being said, I’m a big fan of Dan Dos Santos, whose covers symbolize Patricia Briggs.
So to go from that awesome representation to the graphics found in this and the previous volume, yes the fangirl in me isn’t as happy. There were a few pages that captured emotions really well, but in the back of my mind they felt a bit lacking.
That being said, the storyline in this one was great, condensed and action packed. Awesome job! We get more of Asil in this one, which was nice to see especially after recently reading FROST BURNED and seeing his cameo appearance in that series.
Anna was the big game changer in this episode as she is starting to find her strength.
These are great for both long time fans of the series, but also for newbies to get a real taste of Ms. Briggs world and characters. You won’t be sorry you pick them up either way!
